Yes. Every SOLIDWORKS Design version sold by Kotona Vision includes access to PDM / 3DEXPERIENCE PDM Cloud for centralized, secure management of your technical data. This avoids the need to install a local server and makes collaboration between your teams easier.
SOLIDWORKS requires a Dassault Systèmes certified configuration: a recent Intel or AMD CPU, 16 GB RAM minimum (32 GB recommended for large assemblies), a certified professional graphics card (NVIDIA Quadro or equivalent), and Windows 10 or 11 Pro. We validate your hardware during the audit phase to avoid any bad surprises.
SOLIDWORKS does not run natively on macOS. The recommended path is Boot Camp (Intel Mac) or Parallels Desktop, but performance is limited. For Mac users, we recommend either a dedicated Windows PC or switching to 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS, which runs in the browser.
